Mona Lisa Effect
I can't remember if this was from some movie (I'm thinking Julia Roberts for some reason..) or if someone actually told me this..or if I just like the name of the concept and feel the need to define it, but I was thinking about this idea the other day.
This seems to be kind of a common phenomenon with me for a lot of people I meet (after I guess having preconceptions about them.)
Then the illusion is shattered upon the first (few) interaction(s).
No illusions here.
