forearms
I went to yoga yesterday, even though my arms were still sore from Sunday's climbing adventure. I had a feeling a lot of the moves would be shoulder-intensive, but for some reason I wasn't mentally prepared to be in downward dog for three minutes over and over; or to repeat plank and push-up poses for the hour session.
But I prevailed! I finished them all --and with little shaking.
I probably won't go to yoga religiously after this, but I will say that I really enjoyed it. I left there covered in sweat (since it was 80-something degrees in there) and successfully stretched the crap out of my legs. Job well done.
I definitely like this trying-new-things kick!

Today I can barely move my arms.
But I like being aware of all of the muscles...being able to feel every slight movement in my shoulders down to the parts that I neglect, like my forearms and hands. Everything is engaged. I like this a lot.
