Markings
Though I am completely guilty of doing this myself, I really can't stand reading a book that has hundreds of markings in it.
Right now I'm reading a River Runs Through It, something I've had on my bookshelf for years now. I've only gotten through maybe 25 pages or so...every one of which has line after line underlined and marked. I find it completely distracting.
It's like when people highlight incessantly. Highlighting every line really negates the whole point, now doesn't it? ( I think I do that, too)
Just a thought. Back to the book!
