Thanksgiving at Olivia's

Every now and then I am completely blown away by people's generosity and kindness. The word 'hospitality' doesn't even begin to cover it.

I went to Olivia's parents' for the weekend with Emma--what wonderful people! I feel completely at home there, and they go to great lengths to do so.

The meal was fabulous: appetizers (and liquor) all day, 3 courses, and more pie than any person should be allowed to consume. (gluten free pumpkin cheesecake as well). And of course, more alcohol after that.

Got to hang out with some of Olivia's high school friends on our wine-trail. That was a lot of fun.
Things I've learned:

--Don't do backbends after drinking all day.
--Walking in the woods at night without a flash light is a BAD idea. (not mine to begin with)
--Also, I hate the woods. they freak me out
--Don't refuse pot when a 60 year old man offers it. (its not a trick question).
--Olivia is a wild woman!
--(More people have had sex in Olivia's closet than I would care to count)
--Scots...thumbs up.
--taxidermy-filled dive bars are alright by me. especially when I kick peoples' asses at pool

And finally:
--CHEESE!! Holy shit.

I love Olivia. so. much! Can't wait to go back there!
