Copyright, Intellectual Property Rights: anthro class images

Hesse's article highlights a lot of interesting relationships and distinctions going on about content vs form, ideas and their expression, authorship, and knowledge and ideas as an individual rights vs a social or public right (what is an idea? who does it belong to).

Interesting comparisons can be made in art (contemporary/post-modern in particular), whereby these issues are heavily debated--yet the weight between individual right and PUBLIC/SOCIAL right isn't as equal. (put into different terms). Authorship/individual reigns supreme in a lot of cases.
Idea and not its expression (conceptual art).

(I don't own the rights to any of these images!)

Content vs. form (similarly, software vs hardware)
