cleaning

Christmas is a non-event for jews. Everything's closed, mom is asleep, and tori is watching something awful on tv. So what's left for me to do? clean.

Im not really a fan...but my room, which has served the purpose of storage, 'craft room' for my sister, cat-napping-place, and im sure a multitude of other things, desperately needed to be cleaned.

as i was riffling through things on my desk, mostly trying to organize Chloe's mountain of CDs she lent me--god that girl has an impulse control problem when it comes to music--I came across a piece of paper that had crap written all over it in green marker. It was my sister's list. "colleges i like" (!!!)

something like that really has no emotional value to someone--but I cant even explain how proud I was when I saw it. Everyone worries about tori all the time because she's "no sarah" when it comes to school. big deal--school's not everything. It's actually becoming quite insignificant to me on the grand scheme of things. Unfortunately it has taken me up until this semester to figure that out.

anyway, I do worry about her a lot, but she's doing just fine. She just needs to see that people believe in her like I already do.

guess we'll be going over that list soon..
