Good weekend

After living through hell week (how I actually pulled it off is beyond me), this weekend was actually pretty decent.

This morning I woke up to my phone ringing and my whole family is on the other end :) My mom and sister flew up to ohio yesterday to spend Thanksgiving with my uncle and cousins. Im so glad they went! My mom has been so lonely lately, especially with me at school, and I can tell she is so happy when she's there. She deserves it.

I really wish I was there though..I miss them. It would be so nice to be together over the holiday. But Ill be in good old Rochester. woo! Im sure Ill find some fun things to do, though. Maybe Ill catch up on painting or something.

Sooo, anyway. Ill do a weekend recap! I have nothing else to do.

Friday--
(Finally) caught up on my sleep after pulling multiple all-nighters. Rolled out of bed at around 10 pm, read the 6ish texts from my friends allison and jeff whining for me to come to GLC
"Sarah where aree youuu?!" (they get a little nuts about friend-time. its cute.) So I kind of grunged it over there: put on some jeans and left. Im definitely not one of those "these are my going-out clothes" kind of people, so it didnt really matter anyway. Allison of course was in this cute dress. Sure, there was zebra print on it, but I tried to look past it. haha.
Whatever, I rocked my jeans and hoodie.

So we hung out at GLC and I schooled them in tequila shots before we walked over to campus to make the buses to tilt...

MADNESS. we had to wait for three buses but Ally was completely determined to go take full advantage of her tipsiness, meanwhile Samara was having flashbacks of her first Tilt experience when a drag queen fell on her. (Hilarious.)

Soo when we finally got there the music was kind of lame, but it picked up pretty quickly. I was strangely sober, but dancing all over the place. For the last half hour I had a guy named Ryan attached to my hips. He was alright.

All in all it was a good time. Im glad I got to hang out w/ them, it's been a while.

So Saturday was a little more chill. went to the Two Halves show, hung out at boulder with Olivia and Emma. Bonding, you know. We're trying to figure out a wine trail adventure before the semester ends and Im off to London. Hopefully that works out.

I had forgotten that I made plans with 2 other groups of friends, so when I got back from art-business I had to whore myself out..not very efficient. But it was a good night. Of course I ended it w/ a trip to Jens room so we could catch up--and so I could freak out over her Rolling Stones internship in person. Im so proud of her

Then this morning I spent time with Annie for the first time in almost a month. Kind of strange how quickly that shifted gears to semi-awkwardness. But that was good.

And now here I am at work.

Not bad, not bad. Ive gotta get my ass in gear for this week though. Need to start whipping out some paintings, too.
