Me as a Foodie.

yes please.

So, I love to cook. No surprise to anyone. In fact, i love it so much that I don't mind that I can't eat 60% of the world's deliciousness.
But only when I'm cooking, otherwise it just makes me angry.

And last weekend gave me quite the little ego boost when Sarah was raving about my food to Simon. Since then we have decided to have a weekly cooking night where I attempt to make something new or involving some "skill". Ideally--money, permitting--I will highlight a different ingredient each time and try and do something interesting with it.

so far I've tackled:

Blueberries (salsa)
bananas (stuffed and baked)
Tahini (instead of straight-up hummus...why not cookies?)
Zuchinni (um, just about everything. MIRACLE veggie)
Kale (chips)


My next adventure is curry. Im thinking I could try at least 3 different variations before I get bored.
