Voltage causes current, but Current does the work.

I've had 4 cups of coffee today and it feels like the veins that probably exist in my forehead are beginning to form a separate circulation pathway. My brain is pounding and so is my heart.

It's been a year of stasis and I feel like this might be the jolt.
I'm constantly looking for it, and gripping to keep hold. Part of me feels like I need to change. Part of me wonders which part has changed.
I'm trying not to feel pressure,
but who am I kidding, I always feel pressure.

It feels like the charge you get
when the sound of "clear" fills a hospital room
and you hope to god the voltage is right.
