Perhaps the best -and worse- analogy ever.

It used to feel like an earnest, genuine, intense, impassioned, albeit lovingly angst-ridden Tegan & Sara song. Now it feels more like a Katy Perry pop song.

Both are fine. Both express feelings of love. But sometimes I want a little more singer-songwriter and a little less pop.

........They just feel different.
